>>>>>>>>>>>sign the petition now<<<<<<<<<<<

An updates section, just so you don't think I'm being idle... even though I prolly will be anyways.

April 8, 2003 - The long trek began as I received a mail reply via first class mail to a query on the Hostess website.

April 9, 2003 - The day the petition officially began.  Since then the cause has had some pretty good support from nostalgic palates.  I never   knew so many felt the way I do, and I've seen some other sites pop up (not many) since then that were geared towards turtle pies.  (hopefully I was on to something...)

April 27, 2005 - After two years of getting rather sidetracked, I compiled the petition with its current 1014 signatures and sent them along with a letter and some scans of a few wrappers to the Quality Assurance Manager at Interstate Brands Corporation, herein after referred to as IBC.  This company owns Dolly Madison®, Hostess®, Wonder Bread®, and others.  I believe that this will be the most effective channel, although I have yet to receive a response.  Another letter will have to be sent to restate our goals.

May 31, 2005 - Work begins on this site, with home, updates, mission, history, contact, and links page all created.  I had a small section of an old site of mine hosted by digitalrice.com that covered the petition, etc., but nothing fully devotional.  This site hopefully filled that void.  Made template, layout, and some graphics (all very low-tech).

June 1, 2005 - Uploaded site onto a free tripod account (don't you love all those ads?) until something better comes along.  That may be awhile... Updated the updates, home, history, and links sections.

June 5, 2005 - Submitted another online form through IBC's contact page.  Fixed layout to be more 800 x 600 friendly, and added a counter to the index.htm section.

June 9,2005 - Added cooler background.

June 10, 2005 - I've contacted Matt of X-Entertainment in an effort to solidify a network for bringing a vanilla pie into our realities, as this is really something I cannot do alone.  It is nice to see others as interested in this as me...
